How does the ecobee discern which zone it is controlling at any time when the same wiring would be going to each zone on the zone controller. Is there a breakout box for wiring that I’m missing somewhere?

Comment on Wiring a Thermostat Without C Wire to HVAC by Casey Miller https://www.cozyhomehq.com/no-c-wire-for-thermostat/#comment-11 Mon, 15 Aug 2016 06:43:41 +0000 http://mythermostatreviews.com/?p=230#comment-11 A large number of homes, especially the older ones, don’t have an additional C wire which the modern thermostats need. The job of this C wire is to establish a connection between the furnace or air handler and the thermostat to ensure that they can communicate and use the features of the modern Wi-Fi thermostats appropriately.
