  • Remove the screws securing the top of the cooktop to the top of burner orifice holders. Pop the cooktop out of the mounting clips by inserting a stiff putty knife between the front of the range frame and cooktop, and pushing the tool into the gap.

  • Re-install the burner heads, burner caps, and grates into their correct locations and tightly screw them into place.
  • Plug the range back into the power outlet and open the gas supply valve.
